Willis Johnson

John Jacob Johnson was born into slavery in 1840 in Virginia. He had children with Rose Johnson (born in Alabama - 1848) between 1860 and 1887. One of their sons, Peter Jack Johnson was born before the Emancipation Proclamation in 1860 in Mississippi.  He had eight sons and eight daughters. Peter was married 3 times in Mississippi.
